In 2016 the casino began a $25 million expansion project to enlarge the gaming floor, add a 'smoke-free' playing area, a themed buffet and a circular bar.

Quinault Beach Resort & Casino reopens May 28

The Quinault Beach Resort and Casino will reopen to the public at 10 AM May 28. Prior to that date there will be a private opening for Quinault Nation tribal members at 10 AM May 26. On the next day at 10 AM another special opening will welcome Grays Harbor County residents and Quinault Nation tribal members.

Both the casino and the hotel will open. Guests and workers must wear masks and pass a temperature check at entry. Guest occupancy in the casino will be limited to maintain a safe distancing policy. The casino will be smoke-free and gaming will be limited slot machines.

Quinault Beach Resort & Casino Takes Extra Steps Against Coronavirus

March 10, 2020

The Quinault Beach Resort & Casino released a statement this week regarding additional precautionary efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus on its properties.

As a first step the casino is now closed every day from 4 AM to 6 AM to thoroughly clean and sanitize the entire gaming area. During operating hours, the cleaning processes continue on all 'high-touch areas such as machines, flat surfaces, handles, counters, chairs, and other surfaces, in accordance to the CDC recommendations'. This cleaning process includes the hotel rooms, restaurants, and all public areas.

Hand sanitizer stations are available at every entrance and throughout the property. Disposable gloves are also available if needed.

The casino statement included 'We are closely monitoring all available information, including updated recommendations from the CDC, State and Tribal health authorities and will continue to update our guests on any changes to our operation.'

Quinault Beach Resort & Casino will hold the Grand Opening of its newly expanded casino and Vegas-style buffet June 22, 2018 at 3pm. The celebration concludes the two-year, 25 million-dollar expansion project. The new casino is currently open and accommodating 750 slot machines with new games, and includes a high stakes table area. The Quinault-themed buffet, and circular bar, open to the public on June 1, 2018.

Don Kajans, General Manager of Quinault Beach Resort & Casino states 'we are excited to be able to bring this expansion project to a close. The new casino and games are exciting and the buffet is like none other in the area.' The expansion is projected to bring thousands of new visitors to the region and hundreds of new job opportunities. Quinault is one of the largest employers in the Grays Harbor; and they're currently hiring.

The official ribbon cutting ceremony June 22, 2018 will include a traditional blessing and tour of the new facility. It coincides with Quinault Beach Resort and Casino's 18th Anniversary Celebration beginning June 15th with their Cooking the Blues extending through June 23rd with the William and Reese Comedy Show (Indian and the White Guy).
